I'm a pediatric surgeon and a statistician. I have lots of ideas for projects that would be approachable summer research projects, and would be happy to provide mentorship towards a goal of publication.

Would likely focus on pediatric trauma, but would work with you to create project. I have other ongoing research in global pediatric surgery, crime victim compensation, and pilonidal disease.

Most likely retrospective chart review or analysis of existing data set given time constraints. I have a number of IRBs in progress

You would be free to join the pediatric surgery weekly conference. Would aim ultimately to submit project to Academic Surgical Congress or American Pediatric Surgery Association conferences, most likely.
